1) Why should I have my trash bin cleaned?
Just using a hose and broom to clean your trash and recycle bins is not sufficient to remove or kill the bacteria and diseases that breed in your bins, such as; Tuberculosis, Strep, staph, E-Coli, Salmonella & Listeria. We not only clean your bins, we disinfect, sanitize and deodorize.
2) How often should my trash and recycle bins be cleaned?
We recommend cleaning your bins on a monthly basis. However, some clients prefer the service every two weeks. Contact us for bi-weekly service and pricing
3) How will I know that my bins have been cleaned?
In addition to your bins smelling and looking clean, we will place an easily removable tag on the handle (no adhesives are used) to confirm that the container has been cleaned
4) My trashcan has been cleaned, but I haven't signed up for your service. Why?
As a random act of kindness, we clean trash bins in a new service area free of charge. If you wish to continue with our service simply sign-up online or give us a call at 913-777-4469. You will not be charged for this first complementary trash bin cleaning. If you do not wish to have our service please accept the free clean on us, and remember the next time, your trash can needs cleaning just give Shiny Binz a call.
5) You have cleaned my trashcan twice but there is still dirt-guck inside the bin. Why is this?
We have found that some of the trash or recycle bins we clean can take quite a few cleaning cycles to remove the grime that has built up over time, we make every effort to clean your trash bins to the highest standards, and in time, we have found that our Bin Cleaning machine will remove the most stubborn grime. In the meantime, Shiny Binz has eliminated the odors and germs in your bins.
6) Sometimes I take my trash bins in early and don't leave it at the curbside, is that ok?
We ask you leave your can at the curb side, once it is cleaned we will place your bin at the side of your garage or at a spot you have agreed it be placed.
